John B. Meyer is the Chief Legal Officer of Cable Dahmer Automotive Group, where he leads the enterprise legal function across the company’s multi-dealership operations. He advises executive leadership on strategic transactions and daily operations, including commercial contracting, employment matters, dispute resolution, compliance, and risk programs covering consumer finance, advertising, privacy, and cybersecurity.

John is a 5-time Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel with more than two decades of legal and executive leadership experience across startups, private equity-backed ventures, and Fortune 150 companies. He has built and led legal departments, advised boards and C-suites on complex regulatory and transactional matters, and negotiated billions of dollars in commercial and technology agreements. His work spans corporate governance, M&A, SaaS contracting, privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management.

Previously, John served as General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Zeem Solutions, where he led legal, HR, and policy functions supporting national EV infrastructure expansion. He also developed Zeem’s first enterprise-wide data privacy compliance framework and business continuity protocols.

Earlier, John was Associate General Counsel and acting Chief Privacy Officer at Crown Castle International (NYSE: CCI), where he led teams on data governance, privacy compliance, third-party risk management, and legal operations supporting more than $2.5 billion in annual vendor contracts. He also represented the company in national cybersecurity working groups, including CISA’s Software Bill of Materials initiative.

John holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an MS in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. He is a CIPP/US and CIPP/E, licensed in Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, Illinois, and Florida, and a frequent speaker on cybersecurity, privacy law, and legal operations.
