Program Information

While the US still does not have a comprehensive federal privacy law, New Jersey became the 14th state to enact privacy legislation. Notwithstanding the absence of a comprehensive federal privacy law, the Federal Trade Commission has taken a more aggressive approach towards protecting consumer data. Plaintiffs' counsel are also using creative theories to pursue class actions over privacy.

This webinar will offer an overview of state and federal privacy laws and take a deep dive into the recent privacy litigation trends that dealer counsel need to have on their radar.
