NADC Elects New Officers and Directors

Chicago, IL (October 25, 2021) --- The National Association of Dealer Counsel (NADC) Board of Directors elected officers at its Fall Conference held at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago in Chicago, IL.


Chicago, IL (October 25, 2021) ---  The National Association of Dealer Counsel (NADC) Board of Directors elected officers at its Fall Conference held at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago in Chicago, IL.

Jami Farris of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP was elected President, replacing former President Johnnie Brown of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC.  Scott Silverman of Silverman Advisors was elected Vice President. Eric Baker of Wisconsin Dealer Law was elected Treasurer and Don Gould of Johnson, DeLuca, Kurisky & Gould, P.C. was elected Secretary.  The officers will serve two year terms.

On being elected President, Farris commented “I am truly honored to serve as President. NADC’s members and sponsors have unparalleled experience in the automotive industry. Our collegiality and willingness to share knowledge allow us to better serve our dealer clients across the country as they continue to face unprecedented challenges.”

The NADC membership also elected five directors to their first term at the Fall Conference. Ronald Campione, Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C.; Victor Danhi, Arent Fox LLP; Kate Kelley, CarMax; Sarah Seedig, Holland & Knight LLP; and Evan Nahmias, City Enterprises, LLC.  The directors will serve a three year term.

The NADC is a nationwide professional organization of attorneys who represent automobile and other vehicle dealers.  The NADC provides a forum for members to share information, common experience, and advice related to manufacturer franchise issues, lemon laws, vehicle finance, regulatory complexities, insurance laws, tax laws, buy/sell agreements, employment law, and many other issues facing dealers and their counsel today.
